What Kenya gets per unit for what it sells, for the ten years to 2024. 257 observations across 26 commodities priced in shillings per kilo, litre, hundredweight or cubic metre.

Coffee is the clearest series in the table: KSh 472 a kilo in 2015 rising to KSh 717 in 2024, a gain of 52.0 per cent. Tea, which Kenya ships far more of, moved from KSh 292 to KSh 302, a gain of 3.2 per cent over the same decade. The two are Kenya's headline agricultural exports and their unit prices have diverged by a factor of fifteen in growth terms.

Cement moved least of anything in the table, from KSh 1,133 a hundredweight to KSh 1,278, a gain of 12.8 per cent with a trough of KSh 904 in 2017. Wattle extract moved most, more than trebling from KSh 140 a kilo to KSh 464 by 2023.

This table prints no totals of any kind, so it has no arithmetic of its own. It is published because a unit price is what separates a larger shipment from a dearer one, and the value tables in the same chapter cannot do that alone.

The units are those the source states. Where it prints two dots the figure is absent rather than zero, and those cells are omitted rather than published as nil.
